PNG — Portable Network Graphics
A good alternative if you do not have an SVG. PNG supports transparent backgrounds which means your logo blends cleanly into any page. Minimum 800px wide.
Why not JPG?
JPG does not support transparent backgrounds and is designed for photographs, not logos. JPG logos often appear with a white box around them and look unprofessional.
